* By protecting the retina, lens and aqueous humor from damage by free radicals caused by oxidative stress

This popular, daily beverage can be refreshing, invigorating and taste good, but many now believe there's a real case for green tea and health benefits from drinking the stuff. So, is there a case to answer for? This article will look into just some of the supposed benefits that have caused a stir. Tea has been drunk for over 4,000 years and is now the second most consumed drink worldwide, available in numerous blends and flavors.
